About Cafe Santé

European Classics

A casual, European-style bistro serving The Classics— simply and with flair. Featuring Belgian beers, wood-fired pizzas, mussels and frites, pastas, Panini, unique breakfasts and casual cuisine from other fine European traditions. Serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

“A couple of years ago around midnight in early December I received a text message from the legendary celebrity Chef Mario Batali. He told me that his family was heading to Boyne for a few days at Christmas to hit the slopes and the indoor waterpark at Boyne Mountain and he asked me where he should go and eat. After the initial shock of him asking me I quickly responded Cafe Sante. A few weeks later Batali sent me another note thanking me and letting me know it was everything and more than I said it would be.”

Outdoor Dining

Enjoy the finest patio in Boyne City! With both covered and open air sections and a glass wall to shield diners from any unruly lake breezes, you can take advantage of the summer months and dine in comfort. Showcasing a unique “fire ring” and unsurpassed views of Lake Charlevoix, our patio is the place to be on a summer night in Boyne.

The Bar

Our bar is truly a thing to behold and unlike anything you’ll find in Northern Michigan. Multiple draughts pour brews from the best European beer-producing regions, including Germany, the U.K. and Belgium. Of course, Michigan is one of the best places in the country for unique and delicious microbrews and we are proud to feature draught beers from homegrown heavyweights like Short’s in Bellaire and Founders in Grand Rapids. Our bottled beers offer a similarly varied range of high-quality brews, both imported and domestic.
Our wine list is an eclectic collection intended to provide an authentic European dining experience of exceptional quality, value and taste.
We carry a broad selection of the best Michigan-made beers, wines, and liquors from New Holland Spirits, Short’s Brewing Company, Founders, Atwater, Dark Horse, Black Star Farms and several world-class local wineries and breweries.
Ever tried the British pimm’s cup? How about the elaborate pagentry of an absinthe pour? In addition to our beer and wine, we offer a scintillating and unique array of sparkling cocktails, aperitifs, champagne and sparkling wine and after-dinner drinks. Our Magnum mixologists have truly outdone themselves!  “Santé”!
